How often should I change the oil?
Your oil should be changed every 3000 miles, three months, or as suggested by the manufacturer (see your owner’s manual). If you regularly make short trips in your car, drive in stop and go traffic, idle for extended periods, drive in dusty or dirty air conditions, tow a trailer, or live in a cold weather region, it is recommended that you stay close to  the 3000-mile/three-month schedule.
